Mud Slinging?

MediaCorp was hit with a fine from the Singapore Broadcasting Authority for showing too much nudity from a controversial sex video in its nightly news. While Reuters is usually a reliable source of information, I am beginning to doubt their objectivity in reporting.

Singapore takes a hard line against pornography, drugs and illegal gambling but Singaporeans have little difficulty navigating past token roadblocks to find raunchy material online.

There was little need for that last line in its report. It neither gave any insight nor facts to the incident.
Am I overreacting, do is this really a case of bad reporting etiquette?
