Lomocotive

I've been playing around with <a href="http://www.redscreen.net/">Jake</a>'s <a href="http://www.redscreen.net/photolog/fun.html">lomo effect</a> on a few of my photographs.
After seeing <a href="http://kottke.org/">Jason</a> and <a href="http://megnut.com/">Meg</a> post <a href="http://www.kottke.org/03/02/030222faking_the_l.html">their</a> <a href="http://www.megnut.com/photos/002634.asp">results</a> and being the quintessential copycat, here are mine.
Oh, I did throw in an Unsharp mask filter after the lomo effect.

I've taken the liberty to put Jake's great effects into a photoshop action you can download. It resizes pictures to a width of 500px and works best if the ratio of your image's width to height is 4:3.
Update: Jake just put up his <a href="http://www.redscreen.net/photolog/fun.html">lomo actions</a> for Photoshop up at his site, so I'm taking mine down.
